BTW there are plenty of eagles in Loch Raven Resevoir also ( best in the winter)

i go to Conowingo all the time its a beautiful place! ( i live about 20 mins from it) i saw a snapping turtle hding in a litle pond so to speak coverd with duckweed and a water snake, black crowned night herons, eagles,,,,,,ive never seen any king fishers there ( yet)

Thanks Travis, usually the best time to see the most eagles is around November. That is when they are in their greatest numbers and are the most active. I’m guessing you can find some there any time of the year like but early winter is the best for the “action”

Great series! I visited Conowingo dam yesterday in route back to Washington. I saw two Bald Eagles and have been anxious to photograph them of late. Any suggestions as to when they’ll be most active? Thanks again!
