After the leaves fall there is an emptiness in the landscape. Void of color, and other than the wildlife that is about, it seems lifeless. That is until the first snowfall of the season. On this cold December morning I got up out of a warm bed to head to Bantam Ct. to catch the sunrise. There I found a winter wonderland as the snow stuck to everything. As the sun rose over the lake it set everything a-glow with its warm light. Some people call me crazy to out at such an early hour, especially in the winter, but the rewards are worth giving up some extra sleep in my opinion. I stayed out until that magic morning light gave-way to a bright sunny day, then headed back to the warmth of home for the day.

Beautiful landscape photos Billy. They could all be used as Christmas card pictures. The early morning light really makes your photos special.
Very impressive landscapes. Very nicely done.
