Nature’s Colors Series: Black

Black, the absence of all light reflecting from an object. Black is another sometimes very difficult color to photograph because just like white, it can be difficult to get detail in something so dark. Many birds, insects, and other things in nature are black. We usually tend to think of black things as bad or evil, below are some examples that conform to this thinking such as a crow, or something burned, and some photos that refute that mentality such as a butterfly or beautiful bird. I think there can be just as much beauty in nature from the “dark” things as the light. Please enjoy the photos.
