I live in West London in the UK and nature and wildlife has been a passion of mine, ever since I was given a Kodak Brownie camera complete with a 127 film, when I was about nine years old. I still have the original black & white photographs, somewhere. Since then I have had several SLR cameras, all Nikon, so it was logical to stay with Nikon and go digital.

I hope to bring to you a good selection of our nature and wildlife, from the UK. At the time of writing this, we have just started winter and what I want to try and do is bring you a month by month record of how nature and wildlife changes through the year.

One small apology to you all is that I will always take photographs of my two favourite mammals, one is very easy to find and the other rather difficult. So you will see a lot of Deer pictures, especially the Red Deer Stag and the Otter which is a nocturnal animal but I know where to find them during daylight. I hope you enjoy my view of the UK nature and wildlife.
