There are a few ways to upload photos to the website. The first I'll go over using the "Media" section on the left side navigation when you are logged in.
1. Click the "Media" link on the left side

2. Click the "Add New" link under the "Media" section on the left side

2a. My recommendations for image specs are 700pixels wide for horizontal images or 800pixels tall for vertical. If you upload images
larger than that you will have the option to insert the image at the recommended size above. You can insert images smaller but if you
insert images larger they will extend off the layout of the website (which doesn't look so hot)
3. Click the "Select files" button or the "Choose file" button if you don't have Adobe Flash installed (the browser uploader which is used if you don't have Flash installed will only allow for uploading 1 image at a time) and choose the images you would like to upload

4. Click the "Save all changes" button when all images have finished
5. That's it, you've uploaded your images now it's time to insert them into a blog post. I've you encountered any errors during this process, which happens sometimes when trying to upload an image that is too large, just try the image or images again or resize the problem image smaller and try again.
Uploading images while creating a blog post. You can upload images while you are editing or creating a blog post, if you've already created a new post and have started typing it out then follow these steps if you haven't uploaded your images already
1. While you are in the "Edit Post" view click the little square next to the "Upload/Insert" text above the main body of the post it circled in red below

2. Click the "Select files" button or the "Choose file" button if you don't have Adobe Flash installed (the browser uploader which is used if you don't have Flash installed will only allow for uploading 1 image at a time) and choose the images you would like to upload

3. Click the "Save all changes" button when all images have finished
4. That's it, you've uploaded your images now it's time to insert them into a blog post. I've you encountered any errors during this process, which happens sometimes when trying to upload an image that is too large, just try the image or images again or resize the problem image smaller and try again.
Inserting the images into the blog post. Once you have uploaded images you can then insert them into the the post by following these steps. Images can be inserted all together or throughout the post with text above and below them. I'll also explain what all the options are for an image.
If you have already uploaded the images then continue, if not please follow the steps above to upload the images.
1. Place the cursor where you would like to insert the image. While you are in the "Edit Post" view click the little square next to the "Upload/Insert" text above the main body of the post it circled in red below

2. Click the "Media Library" tab as shown circled below

2a. I'll go over all the image options here, click "Show" to the right of the image you want to insert to see these options.

Title: Required – By default the filename is in this spot, you can change it to something more descriptive if you would like
Alternate text: Optional – Only displayed when a viewer hovers their cursor over the image
Caption: Optional – This is displayed attached to and under an image inserted into a post
Description: Optional – This is not displayed to the viewer and to be honest I'm not positive what it is for
Link URL: Optional - This is what the image will link to when clicked on by a viewer, "None" of course links to nothing "File URL" links directly to the file, and "Post URL" links to the image with the default website layout surrounding it. This is one of the easiest ways to obtain the File URL for adding a default image, you can click on "File URL" and copy the resulting address. You can also type in a link to ANY url that you would like the image to be linked to (for example a flickr image or a website with more similar images)
Alignment: this is pretty straight forward, as shown by the little icons the text will flow around an image if there is room in the post
Size: You will have only the options available to you based on the size of the original image uploaded. In this case I uploaded an original image that was larger than our website layout it was 900×598 pixels which would extend off the page if I inserted the full size image. So for this image I would choose "Large" or any size smaller to insert it into the post
3. Set all the options for the image you would like to insert and click the "Insert into Post" button at the bottom of the image options
4. That should do it, you should now have the image inserted into your post. Repeat these steps to insert all the images you want into your post.
